An imaginative, hand-carved wooden keychain inspired by the world of Gulliver’s Travels – specifically the chapter when Gulliver visits the land of giants. In that spirit, this keychain represents an oversized sunflower seed, transformed into a playful, artistic accessory.

Each piece is hand-carved from medium-hard natural wood, hand-painted with black and white tones to resemble a real sunflower seed, and finished with a glossy lacquer to protect the surface and enhance its shine. Every keychain is individually signed, making it an authentic, collectible miniature sculpture.

Part of the Sylvester V Philip Studio vegetable–fruit series, this piece bridges craftsmanship with storytelling.

Sunflower seed approx. 8 cm (3.1 inches) in length, total keychain length 13 cm (5.1 inches).
Because each piece is hand-carved, slight variations in size, color, or pattern are natural and make every item unique.

Story Behind the Piece

In the story of Gulliver’s Travels, everything ordinary becomes extraordinary when seen through the eyes of a traveler in a giant’s world. That playful reversal of scale sparked the idea for this oversized sunflower seed. What would a simple snack look like if you were as small as Gulliver among the giants? The result is a handcrafted tribute to imagination and perspective – a reminder that size is only a matter of point of view.

Each item is entirely handmade by me – carving, painting, finishing, assembling, and packaging. I work alone, with no assistants or production line.

As a result, if the item is not in stock, fulfillment may take up to 30 business days, depending on the volume of incoming orders.

Right of Withdrawal (for EU customers only)

Buyers located within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, under the following conditions:

• Withdrawal must be communicated in writing (e.g., by email).

• The item must be returned unused and in its original packaging.

• Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

• Refunds are issued after the returned item is received.

This right applies to physical goods only. For digital items (e.g., downloadable stories, coloring books, or eBooks), the buyer agrees to waive the right of withdrawal once access is granted after payment, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
