Description

A uniquely rustic hand-carved fish keychain, created from medium-hard natural wood and finished in a bold blue-and-white color combination. Each piece is intentionally distressed — after painting, it was deliberately sanded to create a weathered, worn look, as if it had been pulled straight from the sea. The final layer of clear lacquer locks in that rugged beauty, giving the piece a strong, glossy surface while preserving its rough character.

Every fish is carved and painted by hand, signed by the artist, and sealed for long-lasting protection. The price is for one keychain. A few are available in stock, but it can also be made to order if sold out.

Fish approx. 8–9 cm (3.1–3.5 inches) in length, total keychain length 13–14 cm (5.1–5.5 inches).

Story Behind the Piece

This fish was born out of pure spontaneity. It started from a random leftover piece of wood on the workbench — no sketches, no plan, just instinct. Once carved, it was painted and then deliberately “mistreated” with a sander, scraping away the paint to give it that raw, lived-in look. Finally, a coat of varnish sealed the chaos in, preserving every imperfect mark as part of its charm.
It’s a playful mix of creativity and destruction — proof that even rough edges can shine when they’re made with passion.

Each item is entirely handmade by me – carving, painting, finishing, assembling, and packaging. I work alone, with no assistants or production line.

As a result, if the item is not in stock, fulfillment may take up to 30 business days, depending on the volume of incoming orders.

Right of Withdrawal (for EU customers only)

Buyers located within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, under the following conditions:

• Withdrawal must be communicated in writing (e.g., by email).

• The item must be returned unused and in its original packaging.

• Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

• Refunds are issued after the returned item is received.

This right applies to physical goods only. For digital items (e.g., downloadable stories, coloring books, or eBooks), the buyer agrees to waive the right of withdrawal once access is granted after payment, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
